Become a Psychologist

If you love the working world, and would like to advance within a business or company, a career as an occupational psychologist might be a good fit for you. The career of an occupational psychologist closely resembles that of an organizational psychologist. As an occupational psychologist, you will often work within a corporate setting. Some of the unique responsibilities of occupational psychologists include the management of any interaction between machines and humans. You will be charged with the responsibility of monitoring and maximizing the usability of various electronic or mechanical stations. You will also be responsible for problem-solving whatever human-mechanical difficulties occur. For example, you might be asked to develop a computer keyboard design with comfortably sized keys, in a color that is most likely to hold employee’s attention.

As an occupational psychologist, you will be required to think creatively, and to quickly develop innovative solutions to problems which occur in the workplace. You will be armed with a tremendous arsenal of knowledge about human behavior in relation to economics.
