  • avatar What are some American sports?
    • Baseball and American football are two good examples of American sports

  • avatar Why are there no audience chants in American sports?
    • There are audience chants in American sports. For example, the "MVP" chant when Kobe Bryant, or Lebron James go to the free throw line, or "Beat LA" chant. Many such chants exist in college basketball and football as well. The problem with professional American sports is that the game is treated more as entertainment. For example, you have music playing in football and basketball matches while players are still on the field. Also shouting and making noise is looked as more of a home-field advantage and disruption than chanting.
