Application Checklist/Deadlines

Please use the check list below in order to ensure that you have sent in all documents to complete your admissions file. All documents that are submitted to the University will need to include your name and social security number on the bottom of each page.

  1. Application fee of $50 (in U.S. dollars) made payable to Nova Southeastern University.
  2. Official transcripts from all colleges or universities you attended need to be mailed directly to Enrollment Processing Services (EPS), including agency evaluation of foreign degrees for determination of U.S. equivalence (including Canadian transcripts). International Students should visit for further information.*
  3. Please briefly explain (500 word minimum) your interest in the field. Describe how your professional, academic, and personal experiences led you to apply to this program. Include your full name on the essay. The personal statement helps us get to know you beyond the objective data provided in review of your courses, grades and other objective information. It also demonstrates your ability to communicate your thoughts in a professional, organized and succinct manner.
  4. International Student applicants should submit TOEFL scores, if applicable. International Students should visit for further information.*

**Applications and supporting material should be received by the preferred application review date. Late applications are reviewed based on availability and students who are not accepted for their initial start date because of late application status will be considered for the following term.

    • You could apply to work for the FBI, I am not going to guarantee you would get a plum like profiling right away, but you would get very interesting training and the money and security is great. However, Forensic merely means having to do with criminals and the criminal justice system, ergo; jails and prisons. Also with the "war" on terrorism they are using many forensic psychologists in their work with terrorists. That would be possibly a Homeland Security job. Also check out the CIA.
